Did anyone notice that our favorite search engine is using a new favicon for a couple of days now. This one is more colourful, but google sticks to its primary colours. What do you think, this new is better or the older one ?

yes i saw it thought it look kinda of weird for google not what you nomaly see from them but it looks good

I still have the blue G icon http://www.google.co.uk/favicon.ico
But I have seen the new one by entering their favicon address. http://66.102.9.104/favicon.ico

WyattSoft, are you using chrome? Because when I use chrome I have the old icon. But on IE I have the new one.

No I'm using Firefox, and still get the old icon even when I'm using IE.

I've just cleared my web cache and now I get the new icon.
(You should try deleting the cache in Chrome Circuit).
